ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The Directors’ Program will focus on several dynamic developments that impact most industry groups. Boston College alumni from all of its schools and others will be able to collaborate and share their concerns and experiences in fostering excellence and ethical board leadership.

• Emerging regulation of directors’ duties, especially under Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform & Protection Act of 2010 & Foreign Corrupt Practices Act
• Managing intellectual property rights in the U.S. and across international borders
• Managing labor pools in a global economy, particularly pursuant to the UN Global Compact
• Balancing the long- and short-term views on building enduring shareholder value
• Benefits and risks of pursuing corporate interests through participation in the political process post the Citizens United Supreme Court decision
