Mike Douglas is a “go-to” corporate and securities lawyer with deep experience in negotiating and structuring complex transactions for clients in a wide range of industries, including SaaS and enterprise software, IT and managed services, staffing, semiconductor, food, footwear and apparel, and other consumer-facing industries. Mike works with emerging growth companies across their entire lifecycle, from drafting founder equity and employment agreements to negotiating venture rounds and exits.
Mike has substantial experience in structuring licensing, distribution, and manufacturing agreements and he is regularly called in on “bet the company” mergers and acquisitions and strategic transactions. Mike also advises a number of early stage companies and entrepreneurs on company formation and entity selection as well as strategies for financing and equity compensation. He has advised companies and founders in numerous angel and venture financing rounds.
Prior to joining Gennari Aronson, Mike was an associate at Choate, Hall & Stewart in Boston where he worked on a variety of corporate matters for private and publicly held clients.
Mike holds a J.D from Boston College Law School, cum laude and a B.A. in Psychology from Tufts University, summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa.
